More than 30 states offer electronic voting, mostly to U.S. military and overseas voters. However, more states are expanding electronic voting to individuals with disabilities, and Nevada is believed to be the first state to allow the practice for those in tribal communities. Still, the FBI warns against expanding electronic voting because of the security, which it calls "high," with regard to return the ballot in-transit.
