This week Donald Trump is easily pulling out a win in the Iowa Republican presidential caucus, despite not even doing the bare minimum, to show that he is actually fit to serve as president. All the while two judges overseeing prosecutions of the former president are making arrangements for the safety of themselves and for that of their families. Indeed, DC federal judge Tanya Chutkan and New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Ergotron. Were swatted days after issuing rulings against Donald Trump, that is their respective law enforcement agencies received fake emergency calls to each judges home prompting a SWAT team response that could have resulted in the deaths of these jurists and or their loved ones. This would be the expected response of Trump’s many social media posts and public statements attacking these judges, between his dangerous attacks on the judiciary and the blatant attempted insurrection on our government. How is it that so many Americans are still so willing to vote Trump into power, particularly right now, when another world war appears to be readily looming? Given the state of the world you can’t help but feel bad for every nation or out there that is sitting at the mercy of American voters? Let’s be honest here. The Republican caucuses aren’t the leading issues on the table as the world is in an incredibly scary place right now. South Africa is seeking genocide charges against Israel, whose relentless attacks on Palestine have taken more than 23,000 lives and incensed a number of nations in the Middle East, such that the Houthis of Yemen and the Iran backed Lebanese group Hezbollah, are aggressively in the mix, as the US engages in violent airstrikes along the Red Sea. In the east, Taiwan has elected the leader of a party that rejects China’s territorial claim of the nation, infuriating China a global power that’s cuddling even closer to Russia, which has been amping up its attacks on Ukraine since New Year’s Eve. And also Russia happens to have the world’s largest stash of nuclear warheads. Argentina’s newly elected president just flipped with greater precision than Simone Biles abandoning his platform and compounding the problems brought by the 190% inflation epidemic in the South American country. Oh, yeah, there’s still that thing between Venezuela and Guyana. They’re dancing, shall we say after Venezuela threaten to annex A mineral rich region of the ladder as the US offers to establish a military base there, and so on, and welcoming in 2024, the world is in the midst of a very problematic moment in time. And our nation, the United States is a world power with the most military installations and bases worldwide, and the second most nuclear weapons only to Russia. Not being said, why would our nation wants to put a human hemorrhoid at the helm. And please forgive my childish language, but my word choice is entirely on par with the exact wording that Donald Trump uses. And guess what I am not a former president, nor am I running for office. Now I’m also not standing for any of the other GOP candidates and I am not excited about another round of Joe Biden. But I am hyped on avoiding a third world war. Believe it or not preventing a global loss of life is kind of my jam. And given that such loss life hangs in the balance due to the ongoing chaos Donald Trump does not deserve a second chance to abuse his power as president of the quote unquote free world especially when global stability is in danger. He is not a leader but a byproduct of our nation’s collective ignorance, hatred of women, Allah Hillary Clinton and backlash of black excellence, Allah Barack Obama, it is foolhardy to uplift a man who tangles with treason and be friends fraud to the detriment of our nation, yet Iowa’s Republicans have given him their stamp of approval and ushered him along in their swing state. Now, while we all wait and see how many other states elevate Trump to lead the GOP ticket? Well, the world is teetering on implosion, with our leaders finger on the trigger. The world simply does not deserve this level of uncertainty. Just because the US has a bunch of weapons and oodles of gall shouldn’t mean it should dictate whether or not mankind enters its Madmax era with another round of Donald Trump at the helm. I don’t think that that’s very far from becoming a reality. So please, caucus wisely America, if not for your sake for the world’s

On Monday, Jan. 16, former President Donald Trump solidified his frontrunner status by decisively defeating his GOP rivals, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, at the Iowa caucus. As the possibility of another Trump-Biden rematch looms, some voters are not clear about which candidate is better suited to guide the country during these uncertain times.
Straight Arrow News contributor Adrienne Lawrence examines the various wars, conflicts, and skirmishes happening globally. Lawrence contends that given the potential threat of another world war, preventing Trump from securing a second term in the highest public office should be the top priority for Americans.
