Children’s rooms with splattered blood stains. Streets and festivals filled with the bodies of the dead.
In today’s modern age, what kind of person would turn away from the atrocities that are being committed against Israeli citizens by Hamas terrorists.
There are already so many pictures and videos, too many for any human to witness with clear eyes.
The evils we are witnessing against Israel are sobering to man’s soul.
And if you have a biblical worldview, if you are rooted in the faith of Christ, then you certainly cannot turn a blind eye to what is happening.
So then, why are there so many on the left who are using this horrible offense to condemn Israel?
It is unfathomable that we have fellow Americans celebrating the deadly surprise attacks by the Hamas terrorists.
It is beyond shocking that some of these celebrating leftist could be our next door neighbors. It’s even more shocking that some of the folks celebrating are elected officials.
But I guess that it’s not too surprising that most of these arrogant, immoral politicians, afraid to denounce children murdering terrorists, turn out to be Democrats representing some of our nation’s most vulnerable zip codes.
U.S. House Representative Rashida Tlaib from Michigan, the only Palestinian American in Congress, as well as Representative Ilhan Omar from Minnesota, released a statement criticizing Israel over its treatment of Palestinians.
In the waking hours of the brutal terrors being inflicted upon innocent Israeli citizens, the first instinct of two Members of Congress was to immediately criticize Israel?
CBS News reported that in one case of a small farming community, the Israeli security forces described the scene as a massacre, that they’d found bodies upon bodies of people who have been butchered.
Tragically, that small farming community is not the only case.
Where is the outcry against these two elected officials from others in their congressional districts?
Babies and children had been butchered by Hamas.
If these two congresswomen and their leftwing progressive ilk want to make this political, then when will fellow Americans speak out that Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005 leaving the Palestinians to self govern and they elected Hamas!?
Just a few days ago, Democratic Senator Edward Markey of Massachusetts called on both sides to de-escalate violence: thank God the crowd booed him.
Another Representative from the state, one who is Jewish, later called him out, making the comment that “Israel did not ask America to de-escalate on September 12, 2001.”
Let’s be clear, this is not the first time the left tries to blame Israel because the Palestinians refuse to place the hand they are dealt and build decent lives in their territories. When former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir was asked by the media in 1957 at the National Press Club here in Washington D.C., “when will this stop? She said, “Peace will come when the Arabs love their children more than they hate us.”
So today I think most Americans will agree that it is time for Israel to wipe Hamas off the face of the Earth.
And I pray that while this could be a long and bloody War, we will remind ourselves that these are the times that try men’s souls: when mere Christianity matters most.
And if the Palestinians are serious about self government and want to be trusted with their own independent state, the next time they have elections they should not elect terrorists.

Congress is now deciding how the U.S. will respond to the Israeli-Hamas conflict. While there is bipartisan support for Israel, Democrats and Republicans have different opinions on how to provide that support.
Republicans like Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., are calling on the Biden administration to take action against Iran should Hamas escalate. Democrats are pushing for a de-escalation in violence, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., who criticized Israel’s counterattacks.
Straight Arrow News contributor Star Parker argues that Democrats should refrain from criticizing Israel altogether. Parker suggests that it is time for the Left to unequivocally condemn Hamas and take concrete steps to support Israel.

United States House Representative Rashida Tlaib [D] from Michigan, and the only Palestinian American in Congress, as well as Representative Ilhan Omar [D] from Minnesota — they recently put out a statement criticizing Israel over the treatment of Palestinians.
Okay, let me get this right. In the waking hours of the most brutal terror being inflicted upon innocent Israeli citizens — 5,000 missiles in one span of time, unbeknownst to anyone that it was going to happen — the first instinct of two members of our Congress was to immediately criticize Israel.
