During this season of Christmas here in our country where you see lights everywhere, trees everywhere you hear the holiday songs. When you think about what’s happening in Israel during the same time, there are no Christmas trees, there are not Christmas songs, there are Hanukkah celebrations, there is a time and season for everyone in their religious expressions. And this happens to be one that connects us to the Bible. This particular season is about the Bible. So it’s so unfortunate that we’re having such aggressive discussions, not just here about the role of Jews in our world, but in Israel to be at war during this season, to have had such an atrocities on October the seventh to where now everything seems to be breaking down against them to where now the UN itself is saying ceasefire stop. Why would you go in and try to get rid of Hamas. That’s basically what they’re saying. Because we as a society know that we have been following this particular incident. Since 80 years ago, when Israel became a state, we all know that there were opportunities then by the Arabs to also create a state, there are opportunities, then there are opportunities again, in the 60s, there are opportunities again, just recently, but it’s the Arab community that continues to walk away, and not all of their communities, particularly the Palestinians, and those that support Palestinian ideas. I ran the people that Hezbollah that have the the the Hamas themselves. So what we have to do, as a society is make a decision, are we going to be on the side of truth, the expression of the season that we’re all celebrating here in our country, to where man has an opportunity to self govern, and should be left alone in their religious expressions? Are we going to be on the side of those who are now marching through our streets interrupting even the Vice President, the country having presidents of universities not even be able to articulate that we could actually say, what happened October the seventh is wrong. And so as anti semitism, which side are we going to choose? During this season of celebration, celebrating the birth of the Lord celebrating the Bible? I think it’s time that we separate ourselves into deciding who we’re going to be as a country here in America. So glad that Americans had the strength to say no, when the UN decided that they wanted to basically penalize and tie the hands of Israel when they’re in the war for their very existence. I was with some of my Jewish friends the other day, Orthodox Jewish friends the other day, and they’re very concerned about the outcome. They’re very concerned about the breakdown in our society towards them as a people and what will happen next, what we do know is that they are resolved that they will not go through a holocaust again, the big question on the table is will America be with them as they never go through a holocaust again?

By Straight Arrow News
On Dec. 8, the United States vetoed a resolution for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict at the United Nations Security Council. The resolution received 13 in favor, with the U.S. casting the sole vote against it and the U.K. abstaining. Other countries criticized the U.S. veto, with China pointing out a contradiction in allowing Israel’s fighting to continue while “claiming to care about the lives and safety of people in Gaza.”
Straight Arrow News contributor Star Parker argues that the U.S. did the right thing in vetoing the U.N. resolution. She stresses the importance of supporting Israel’s right to defend itself to the best of its capabilities.
Which side are we going to choose during this season of celebration, celebrating the birth of the Lord, celebrating the Bible? What we do know is that they are resolved that they will not go through a Holocaust again. The big question on the table is: Will America be with them as they never go through a Holocaust again?
