Oh, here’s another one by the Donald, another. Well, let’s just say, public relations scandal. He decided to act as if he’s working at a McDonald’s. He was spotted at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s drive through, handing out food, pretending to work, and then he takes a shot at Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States, because she talked about her working as a fry cook at a fast food restaurant back in the 80s. He said she’s lying, because he’s never heard of this before, even though people close to the Harris family say yes, she in fact, did work at the fast food restaurant in the early 80s. Here’s the thing, this is just a ploy. It is a marketing tactic. Who loses while people celebrate on the sidelines because they feel as if it’s red meat, while Donald Trump continues to call out the resume of black politicians while accepting the resume of white politicians face value, he is simply playing a game. Who loses you? We all do. Let me show you how Republicans lose. Republicans lose because you all do not have a policy champion. Politics is a policy game. Damn what you heard. Politics is a policy game. What good does it do you to put somebody in position who you may like, you may enjoy laughing at, but they could care less about solving the real challenges that you have in front of you. You do not progress. You do not move the collective forward. You do not have a policy champion in Donald Trump, and you know it, and because he is so weak on policy, he is so incapable of providing policy solutions for you, he decides to give you tactics. He decides to sway at campaign rallies to music rather than give you an actual speech. He rather duck, dodge, deny and deflect debates. He rather not do tough interviews. He is no policy champion. And then, how does it hurt Democrats? It hurts Democrats because there are many Democrats who can get away with doing almost anything, delivering nothing, and then saying, what choice do you have? You’re going to vote for this guy. You’re going to vote for his cronies. You’re going to participate in an election and not vote for the Democrat because your alternative choice is so much worse. It hurts us all. We have to get back to solution minded human beings, those that may differ, but at least they care, those that may be willing to engage in debate because they actually are passionate about the issues we have to get back to policy and politics. Trump’s McDonald’s play proves no substance in his policies
By Straight Arrow News
On Sunday, Oct. 20, former President Donald Trump joined McDonald’s workers at a location in Bucks County, Pennsylvania — a key battleground state. Trump served up french fries to drive-thru customers eager to get a moment with the former president. With less than two weeks until Election Day, Trump and Harris are in a tight race for the popular vote.
In the video above, Straight Arrow News contributor Dr. Rashad Richey argues that Trump’s fast-food stunt is a gimmicky ploy, revealing him as unserious about policy and politics.
