A continue in increase in the inflation rate is really bad news for the American people. And it’s bad news for President Biden and the Democrats.
I encountered it personally, when Calista came home last Saturday, and told me that she just filled up her car, and it was $104.50. She was in a state of shock. Then I went out and pulled out my own truck. And it was $104.30. But I wasn’t quite a shock, because I already knew what she’d paid. But think about that.
One woman said recently, that she couldn’t find infant formula. She went to five or six stores, and she couldn’t afford to pay for the gasoline to have to go to five or six stores.
So it’s like a double whammy.
And this is happening and food is happening. And electricity is happening and gasoline again and again, the American people are getting hit, building back better turned into building back poor.
And that’s going to be a huge problem for the Democrats this fall.
I think by contrast, if you happen to notice the January 6 committee’s primetime hearing, people are not going to be moved to vote by politicians talking on a script of closed congressional room, unless they’re talking about how to stop inflation, how to keep the economy growing, how to help the American people in practical ways.
This is a very important turning point this summer. It’s going to be, I think, very challenging economically. And I think all of that is going to be an enormous burden for the Democrats to carry into the fall campaign.

US should eliminate taxes on server tips
In the United States, restaurant servers are paid below minimum wage and earn the majority of their incomes from tips left by customers. Even after accounting for these tips, a 2015 analysis concluded that the total median hourly income for a server in the U.S. was just $13, while bartenders earned only $9. Former President… -
On immigration, Trump will have a mountain to climb
President Biden, responding to a recent uptick in “the entry of certain noncitizens at the southern border,” has restricted asylum eligibility and increased the consequences for individuals caught illegally crossing the border. Those measures prompted liberal advocacy groups like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) to file lawsuits against the Biden administration. Biden’s stricter immigration… -
‘Bidenflation’ will be the top concern for voters in November
The United States has one of the lowest inflation rates in the world today. The latest U.S. Consumer Price Index Summary, released on Wednesday, June 12, showed that inflation cooled slightly more in May, increasing by only 3.3% year over year, compared to the 3.4% expected by economists. While this is all good news for… -
