Trump envoy Witkoff says Zelenskyy apologized in letter to Trump

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has allegedly apologized to President Donald Trump after a shouting match in the Oval Office, as confirmed by Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff. The envoy said that the letter was an “important step.”

Following the Oval Office conflict, military aid and intelligence sharing to Ukraine were suspended, with Trump stating that Zelenskyy was not serious about pursuing a ceasefire with Russia. Officials from both Ukraine and the U.S. are set to meet in Saudi Arabia the week of March 9 to get back on track regarding peace negotiations.
