Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, a former White House physician, weighed in on President Joe Biden’s mental fitness after a report raised questions of his capabilities, saying the president has “significant issues.”

White House officials and some of President Biden’s allies dismissed attacks on his mental sharpness, noting Republican bias in the criticisms and Democrats’ evaluations of Biden’s performance.

Jackson emphasized urging Biden to undergo a cognitive test, sending five unanswered letters to the White House since Biden’s term began in 2021.
