This book will be released on May 20, as announced by Penguin Press. The authors state that Biden, his family and aides were in denial about his declining faculties, leading to a decision to run again.

Concerns about Biden’s age and mental capabilities grew after his poor debate performance, prompting calls from prominent Democrats for him to withdraw from the race, which he ultimately did on July 21. The book presents a perspective on Biden’s presidency that critics claim reflects a lack of honesty regarding his health and capabilities, as well as exposing what the authors describe as a “campaign of denial and gaslighting” that contributed to the Democratic defeat.
