Matt Gaetz accused in new court filings of attending drug-fueled sex party with teen

Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., allegedly attended a drug-fueled sex party with a 17-year-old girl, according to three eyewitnesses in new court filings. One witness stated that the naked teenage girl was present for sexual activities while drugs like cocaine and ecstasy were used, according to the court filings.
The testimony in the filings is the first instance of sworn testimony being referenced in court regarding Gaetz’s involvement in an underage sex scandal.

Gaetz was being investigated for sex trafficking charges between 2021 and 2023, but federal officials declined to charge him.
