A lawsuit in New York alleges that several activist groups had prior knowledge of the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks and acted as “propaganda arms” for Hamas, seeking damages for “material support” to the terrorist organization. Victims’ families are also seeking damages for this alleged “material support” provided to terrorist organizations, claiming actions by the accused groups helped facilitate the attacks.
One plaintiff, Shlomi Ziv, stated that his Hamas captors bragged about having “Hamas operatives on American university campuses.” Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine posted on Instagram “We are back!!” just minutes before the Hamas attack, raising allegations of coordinated communication with Hamas.
