Jared Moskowitz becomes first Democrat to join DOGE Caucus

Florida Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz is the first Democrat to join the bipartisan House DOGE Caucus on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Moskowitz stated that “streamlining government processes and reducing ineffective government spending should not be a partisan issue.”

He proposed that USSS and FEMA become “independent federal agencies with a direct report to the White House.

His decision aims to foster cross-aisle collaboration in Washington, D.C., following an initiative he started in February 2023.
