ICE can use Boeing Field for deportations, appeals court rules

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the U.S. government can deport illegal immigrants despite local objections, as stated by a panel of judges. The court found that King County violated its contract by prohibiting deportations at Boeing Field.
The executive order was deemed unlawful for targeting federal operations and discriminating against ICE. The federal government was using the airport during the first Trump administration in 2019 to deport immigrants, when the legal battle began.
