Hundreds of immigrants arrested on first day of ICE raid: Trump’s border czar

More than 460 illegal immigrants have been arrested in the United States since President Donald Trump’s inauguration Monday, Jan. 20, including those with criminal histories, according to multiple reports. The arrests occurred between midnight on Jan. 21 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 22, covering 33 hours.

“In the last 24 hours, ICE arrested over 308 serious criminals,” Border Czar Tom Homan told Fox News on Wednesday, Jan. 22. “Some of them were murderers. Some of them were rapists. Some of them raped a child.”

Nationals from various countries, including Mexico, Colombia and Guatemala, were among those arrested across multiple states.

Trump has vowed to deport millions of illegal immigrants, having issued an executive order for this purpose.
