The Federal Emergency Management Agency employee who was fired after advising her disaster relief team to skip homes with yard signs supporting Donald Trump has broken her silence. The worker claimed that it is common to skip houses with residents that are deemed hostile.
Not only that, she also claimed that higher-up FEMA officials knew that the text she sent was not politically motivated, confirming that the text was due to experiences while out in the field, not due to any political leaning. FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell condemned the messages when they were released.
