Bar Association: Trump administration attacks on judges ‘cross the line’

The American Bar Association criticized the actions of President Donald Trump and his administration, emphasizing the need for adherence to the rule of law amid recent changes. ABA President William R. Bay stated that changes must respect the lives of individuals and follow legal processes, calling the rule of law a “bright beacon.”

More than a dozen lawsuits have been filed against the administration’s actions, which are seen as violations of the Constitution and rule of law.

U.S. District Judge John Coughenour remarked that the rule of law is often ignored by the administration but pledged to uphold it in his courtroom.
