His opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned on steadfast support for Ukraine’s efforts to fend off Russian forces.

As Straight Arrow News reported, a crucial moment has been reached in Russia’s war in Ukraine. Moscow is making steady gains in the eastern Donbas region and Ukrainian forces on the front lines are reportedly in need of “constant renewal of resources.”

Still, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed confidence and optimism on Wednesday, Nov. 6, that the two leaders can work together to bring “just peace in Ukraine closer.”

Zelenskyy congratulated Trump on his victory and said he looks “forward to an era of a strong United States of America under President Trump’s decisive leadership.”

“We rely on continued strong bipartisan support for Ukraine in the United States,” Zelenskyy added.

While Ukraine congratulated Trump on his victory, Russia’s response wasn’t heaped in praise. The Kremlin stated there are no plans from Putin to congratulate the president-elect.

Russia acknowledged the U.S. remains a hostile state and said only time will tell if Trump’s promise to end the war in Ukraine becomes reality.

THERE ARE QUESTIONS OVER WHAT A TRUMP VICTORY MEANS FOR THE WAR IN UKRAINE.

REPUBLICANS HAVE BEEN CRITICAL OF CONTINUED U-S MILITARY SUPPORT AS THE COUNTRY STRUGGLES TO FIGHT OFF RUSSIA.

THE PRESIDENT-ELECT AND HIS RUNNING MATE J-D VANCE HAVE QUESTIONED CONTINUED AMERICAN COMMITMENT IN KYIV.

PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS CLAIMED HE COULD QUICKLY END THE WAR, THOUGH HE HAS NOT OFFERED SPECIFICS.

WHILE HIS OPPONENT, VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS CAMPAIGNED ON STEADFAST SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE’S EFFORTS TO FEND OFF RUSSIAN FORCES.

AS STRAIGHT ARROW NEWS HAS BEEN REPORTING – WE’VE REACHED A CRUCIAL MOMENT IN THE WAR.

RUSSIA IS MAKING STEADY GAINS IN THE EASTERN DONBAS REGION AND UKRAINIAN FORCES ON THE FRONTLINES ARE REPORTEDLY IN NEED OF “CONSTANT RENEWAL OF RESOURCES.”

STILL, UKRAINIAN PRESIDENT VOLODYMYR ZELENSKYY EXPRESSED CONFIDENCE AND OPTIMISM THAT THE TWO LEADERS CAN WORK TOGETHER TO BRING “JUST PEACE IN UKRAINE CLOSER.”

ZELENSKYY CONGRATULATED TRUMP ON HIS VICTORY AND SAYS HE LOOKS “FORWARD TO AN ERA OF A STRONG UNITED STATES OF AMERICA UNDER PRESIDENT TRUMP’S DECISIVE LEADERSHIP.”

ADDING, “WE RELY ON CONTINUED STRONG BIPARTISAN SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE IN THE UNITED STATES.”

WHILE UKRAINE CONGRATULATED TRUMP ON HIS VICTORY, RUSSIA’S RESPONSE WASN’T HEAPED IN PRAISE.

WITH THE KREMLIN STATING THERE ARE NO PLANS FROM PUTIN TO CONGRATULATE THE PRESIDENT-ELECT.

ACKNOWLEDGING THE U-S REMAINS A HOSTILE STATE AND SAYING ONLY TIME WILL TELL IF TRUMP’S PROMISE TO END THE WAR IN UKRAINE BECOMES REALITY.

THE KREMLIN ASSERTS IT STILL VIEWS THE U-S AS AN UNFRIENDLY COUNTRY ENGAGED IN A WAR “DIRECTLY AND INDIRECTLY” AGAINST RUSSIA.
