A growing number of countries have started to integrate COVID-19 vaccine booster shots into their pandemic response strategy. While the United States has allowed immunocompromised and some elderly citizens to get a third ‘booster’ vaccine dose, FDA officials have declined the same offer for the general public. Straight Arrow News medical expert Dr. Payal Kohli says it may be months before everyone is allowed to receive a booster shot. Dr. Kohli also issued a warning for anyone trying to get a third shot before an FDA decision.
