TAYLOR KNIGHT:
YOU MAY BE BETTER CHEERING ON YOUR OLYMPIC TEAM AT HOME THIS YEAR.
THE TOKYO OLYMPIC ORGANIZERS PLACED A FEW RESTRICTIONS THAT MAY TAKE THE FUN OUT OF THE LIVE EVENTS.
THIS YEAR SPECTATORS WON’T BE ABLE TO PURCHASE ALCOHOL AT THE VENUE.
THEY WON’T BE ABLE TO CHEER OUT LOUD.
SHARE A CELEBRATORY HIGH FIVE.
WAVE THOSE TOWELS IN AIR OR ASK FOR ATHLETES TO SIGN MEMORABILIA.
WHAT’S UP WITH THAT?
WELL THE ORGANIZERS ARE TRYING TO REDUCE THE SPREAD OF COVID 19 FOR FANS AND THE ATHLETES.
ATTENDEES MUST ENTER WITH A MASK AND GET THEIR TEMPERATURE CHECKED.
HOWEVER ONCE THEY GET IN THEY CAN TAKE OFF THEIR MASK ONLY IF THEY STAY 6 FEET APART.
THESE RESTRICTIONS ARE PRETTY TIGHT BUT FOR A GOOD REASON.
THE TOKYO OLYMPIC ORGANIZERS ARE ASKING GUESTS TO KEEP THEIR TICKET STUBS IN CASE OF AN OUTBREAK.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THESE RESTRICTIONS?
LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW.
