The National Weather Service reports Tropical Storm Fred made landfall near Cape San Blas, Florida at 2:15p Central. The video above shows effects of the storm’s outer bands hitting Florida over the weekend.

It is moving north-northeast at just under 10 mph. It will cross the panhandle Monday and then move over western Georgia Tuesday.

Through Tuesday, some parts of the Florida Big Bend and Panhandle could see up to a foot of rain. Parts of Southeast Alabama through western and northern Georgia, as well as the western Carolinas, could see up to 10 inches in places.

Parts of the Mid-Atlantic states could see a half foot of rain by Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Tropical Depression Grace is expected to move through Haiti Monday afternoon and evening. This could spell disaster for a country still reeling from a 7.2 magnitude earthquake from over the weekend.

The National Hurricane Center said Grace will pass between Jamaica, Cuba, and the Cayman Islands on Tuesday and Wednesday. It could hit southern Texas by Friday morning.
