President Donald Trump confirmed the capture of a terror suspect, accused of being involved with the 2021 attack on the Kabul airport. The bombing killed 13 American service members and at least 170 Afghan civilians.
“I want to thank, especially the government of Pakistan, for helping arrest this monster,” Trump said during his address to Congress Tuesday, March 4.

What did Trump say during his address?
While Trump did not name former President Joe Biden, he did mention the attack becoming a symbol of chaos during the drawdown of U.S. troops.
“Three and a half years ago, ISIS terrorists killed 13 American service members and countless others in the Abbey Gate bombing during the disastrous and incompetent withdrawal from Afghanistan,” Trump said. “Perhaps the most embarrassing moment in the history of our country.”
