Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to announce her running mate pick on Monday, Aug. 5, as she looks to win the presidency. Then Tuesday, Aug. 6, she’s expected to hold a rally in Philadelphia with her new running mate joining her on stage.
The campaign trail is heating up, with Harris holding her largest rally yet in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday, July 30.
Both the Harris and Trump campaigns released new political ads attacking the records of their opponent. Both are on the road to more events to rally their supporters.
On Wednesday, July 31, Harris will speak at a historically Black sorority event in Texas. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump will attend the National Association of Black Journalists conference in Chicago, then hold a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
Trump’s VP pick, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, will be on the campaign trail Thursday, Aug. 1, in California and Arizona.
More is also coming out about the Democratic National Convention (DNC) happening in August. President Joe Biden is expected to give a primetime address on the first night of the DNC, and media outlets are reporting there’s a big tribute for the president also planned for that night.
