Clooney shared that growing up in Kentucky, he wanted to escape farm life. But now, it offers him the best chance at a normal life. The actor even mentioned that he drives a tractor.
Other celebrities embracing farm life
Clooney isn’t the only star enjoying farm life. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani live on a ranch in Oklahoma.
In a Nylon interview last year, Stefani shared her love for growing produce on a large scale, including corn and beans. Like Clooney, she also has a tractor. The couple married a few years ago in a backyard chapel on their ranch.
Actor Chris Pratt is also busy on his farm in Washington. He raises chickens and cows and often shares glimpses of farm life on social media.
Martha Stewart, known for her love of home and garden, owns a 150-acre property about 50 miles north of New York City. At one point, she raised up to 200 chickens.
Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey’s farm in Hawaii spans 16 acres. She grows vegetables like kale, potatoes and spinach. According to a 2013 blog post, her farm produced 145 pounds of food weekly.
