Biden’s age a major concern for voters — two-thirds of Democrats say he’s too old

A new Associated Press poll revealed that 77% of voters think President Joe Biden is too old to “effectively serve another 4-year-term as president.” According to the poll, 69% of Democrats think Biden is too old to run again.

However, 82% of Democrats still say that Biden will have their support if he ends up being the Party’s 2024 presidential nominee.

Over half of voters think that both Biden and 77-year-old former President Donald Trump are too old to serve as president. But unlike Democrats with Biden, the majority of Republicans believe Trump is not too old to run in 2024.

Not only do the majority of Americans think the two candidates are too old to serve, 66% of voters believe an age limit should be set for the president should be under a certain age.

The poll suggests that American voters have come to the general consensus that age is a factor in how effective a leader can be, and believe an age limit should also extend to Supreme Court justices and members of the U.S. House and Senate.

IS PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN TOO OLD TO SERVE A SECOND TERM? THAT’S THE QUESTION POSED IN A NEW ASSOCIATED PRESS POLL

THAT REVEALS MORE THAN THREE QUARTERS OF AMERICANS THINK HE IS.

TAKE A LOOK AT THE RESULTS OF THE POLL. OVERALL, 77 PERCENT OF AMERICANS BELIEVE BIDEN IS TOO OLD TO “EFFECTIVELY SERVE ANOTHER 4 YEAR-TERM AS PRESIDENT.” NOTABLY – MORE THAN TWO THIRDS OF THE PRESIDENT’S OWN PARTY BELIEVE HE’S TOO OLD TO RUN AGAIN. EVEN SO, AN OVERWHELMING 82 PERCENT OF DEMOCRATS SAY BIDEN STILL HAS THEIR SUPPORT IF HE IS THE PARTY’S NOMINEE FOR 2024.

RIGHT BEHIND BIDEN IN YEARS IS REPUBLICAN FRONTRUNNER AND FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP AT 77 YEARS OLD.

BIDEN’S AGE WAS A GREATER FACTOR FOR RESPONDENTS BUT MORE THAN HALF BELIEVE **BOTH CANDIDATES ARE TOO OLD TO SERVE AS PRESIDENT IN 2024.

BUT UNLIKE DEMOCRATS – THE MAJORITY OF REPUBLICANS THINK TRUMP IS **NOT TOO OLD TO RUN IN 2024.

NOT ONLY DO A MAJORITY OF AMERICANS THINK THE TWO CANDIDATES RUNNING FOR THE HIGHEST OFFICE IN 2024 ARE TOO **OLD

THEY ALSO BELIEVE AN AGE LIMIT SHOULD BE SET.

TWO-THIRDS OF RESPONDENTS SAY PRESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES SHOULD BE UNDER A CERTAIN AGE.

AND SAME GOES FOR AGE LIMITS ON SUPREME COURT JUSTICES AND MEMBERS OF THE U.S. HOUSE AND SENATE.

THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF AMERICANS WITH THE GENERAL CONSENSUS –

THAT AGE **IS A FACTOR IN HOW EFFECTIVE A LEADER CAN BE.
