Starting Friday Nov. 1, Arizona residents 21 and older can have cannabis delivered directly to their doorstep. This is a new convenience previously available only to medical marijuana users.
The Arizona Department of Health Services worked with individual dispensaries and licensed third-party services to launch this initiative. It marks a significant milestone for recreational marijuana consumers since sales began in 2021.
In 2023 alone, Arizona’s cannabis market surpassed $1 billion in sales, reflecting strong demand and widespread acceptance among Arizonans.
The Arizona Dispensaries Association expressed enthusiasm for the increased accessibility that delivery services bring. Officials noted the new option will enhance convenience and provide more options for consumers across the state.
