Shannon Longworth is an investigative reporter and anchor for Straight Arrow News. She started her career on California’s central coast, then made her way back home working in the sprawling suburbs of New York City. Shannon earned a Bachelor’s degree from Boston College where she double-majored in English and Communication. While at school, Shannon was a Division 1 athlete in the sport Boston does best — rowing. Then, after completing her undergraduate studies, she applied to Northwestern University where she earned a Master’s Degree in Journalism.
Shannon never lost her passion for sports. She ran the Boston Marathon, the Valencia Marathon in Spain and the Vermont City Marathon. Now, she is taking on a new challenge and training for her first powerlifting meet.
