Born in Illinois, he moved with his family to Southeast Asia and traveled through six continents before returning to the U.S. to complete his higher education. He holds a B.A. in Mass Communications and is a proud alumnus of the University of South Florida. Mahmoud is passionate about language, culture, and topics surrounding freedom and reform around the world. His drive for contributing to stories on the national news stage comes from his international perspective and diverse background. Mahmoud is a strong believer in the right to ask questions and challenge viewpoints.
